マレーシアのアーティストであるシュシ・スライマンのノートを基にして制作した作品。私は尾道に来てからシュシさんに会った。
２０１６年にパリで描いたスケッチを私に見せた。彼女は娘「シドラ」に対してそのノートで愛情を表した。アニメーション化にすれば面白いではないかと考えて、制作した。シドラは赤ん坊だったころ、シュシさんが"Iloveyou, Siddra"と言うたびに、シドラは"Bulan!"と返事する。BULANとはマレー語で月という意味。なので、この作品をブランというタイトルを付けた。
制作の最中にそのスケッチの意味を分からずに自分で勝手に空想し一本の作品にとして動き「アニメーション」や映像の流れを作った。そして、音楽は私の従姉妹に頼んで非常に面白いメロディーで作った。バックミュージックは「HOPE」というタイトルでシドラの名前通りでメロディーを使った。ファ「日本語でシ＝４」、ド「１」、ラ「６」のメロディーがこの作品の音楽のメインである。

This animation is based on Shooshie Sulaiman Notebook. I meet her firsttime in Onomichi.
Shooshie made this note book sketch in Paris 2016. She draw the sketch to express her love to her doughter "Siddra". When she showed me about this note book, we think the note book can become a good Animation art. When Siddra was a baby she always reply "Bulan" mean moon, when Shooshie tell "I love you siddra". for that I made "Bulan" as the tittle of this animation.
On the process of making this animation, I did not ask detiled about the sketch to Shooshie. I tried as possible as I can to Imagined the movement, and the vlow of the film. I asked my Cousin to make the Back music. And she made the music with 4,1,6 as the main melody. that have meaning 4 is シ "shi" in Japanese Language, 1 is "Do" and 6 is La with "Ra"pronunciation. and you can read the melody with "ShiDoRa", pronunciation of Siddra name in Japanese. The music Tittle is HOPE.
